Comments about Smoky Mountain 34 in. Vertical LP Gas Smoker with Two External Drawers:
Easy to assemble, seals good, makes great food.
Overall I love this smoker.
A few things they can (and did) improve upon with their higher end 34" vertical smoker.
Propane allows you to set the temp and the temp gauge seems accurate and it holds the temp no problem.
But the water box is smallish and can't go longer than a few hours, one hour at high temps.
The metal box for the wood chips (not shown in the pics) is tiny 5X5X2" which needs to be replenished every 45min - 1hr even with soaked chips.
The drawers dont come out very far and there's very little clearance between the top of the wood box and the water drawer. So you need a fireplace tong or something to slide the top out, then remove the box with oven mitts or just drop wood thru the upper drawers handle then slide the top back on.
A larger box would help the smoke last longer and the upper model has a larger wood chip box.
All in all though for the money this thing rocks!!! Much better than my charcoal R2D2 unit for ease of use and the food is great which is the bottom line

Comments about Smoky Mountain 34 in. Vertical LP Gas Smoker with Two External Drawers:
easy to use, maintains heat well when you figure out your unit, I like the draws they make it easy to get to the water and the wood box, it has a nice brass burner that will not rot out in a year or so,all in all it's not a bad box for the money. Just dont get disapointed if it comes with all the pre assembled parts with loose nuts.and some missing nuts and bolts,It may have been just fluke. All said a [*] good smoker for the money so far for me.

Comments about Smoky Mountain 34 in. Vertical LP Gas Smoker with Two External Drawers:
I never smoked anything before, tried a rack of baby back ribs, they were ok, don't know if the temp gauge is accurate, have to do some more to really figure it all out, other than that very pleased with smoker, did alot of shopping aroung before I purchased this one, liked this one due to the fact it has 1 door for the water and 1 for the wood chips.
