To clean the bottom tray, I just loosen it so it ramains flat the then tilt the grill on edge after.

So far I have tried the grill with salmon and vegetables. Both turned out perfect! It is extremely easy to use. The only drawback I see so far is that the bottom drip tray has to be removed with the unit tipped up and drippings can spill. I'm trying to figure a way around that and will pass it on when I do.
