This M500 Quantum Charbroil grill is advertised as a Infrared gas grill. It is not a Infrared gas grill but, a stainless steel tubelar burners with a splash cover to prevent any flareups. This is a standard type of grill for any grilling but does not contain any Infrared burners for temperatures reaching 1600 degrees farenheit.
