Forewarned by previous reviews,I was able to download assembly instructions from the Char-Griller web site. It took us about 2 hrs to complete the 14 steps with everything finger tight. Another 1/2 hour on Sun for the final tightening. 2 hrs @ 250 degrees to cure and we were off to grillin'. Very pleased with the results. heats up in a hurry,sears beautifully,love them grill marks. Working on techniques to maintain lower temps. So far it has been only the two of us,but, I can see where this rig is up to cookin' for a crowd w/o difficulty. I was not completley happy with this grill. It looks good, but I have had to make several modifications to address specific issues that could have been avoided with a little thought by the manufacturer. First, the upper warming rack is very flimsy, and cannot support much weight. It will not support a rack of ribs or a chicken, and is best suited for only buns. Secondly, the flame is too close to the grill surface, and as a result it is difficult to slow cook even on low heat. Third, because of the two stacks, heat exits the unit quickly, and it is difficult to do slow roasting of chickens. I have had to modify the grill by reinforcing the warming rack, installing a rack and layer of porcelin brickets on top of the flame tubes to even out the heat, and by putting vent covers on top of the stacks. Each of these issues could have easily been addressed by the manufacturer.

Best grill I've ever owned. Heats quickly and maintains consistent heat. Use wood chips in a smoker box tucked into a corner and you won't believe the added flavor. Drip pan has a minor leak onto the shelf below.

This is a nice grill. Piecing it together is time consuming(not hard) but I hear that is common with all grills. I've only used it a few times but I'm happy so far. The only thing I have noticed is a small scratch on the hood that was under the packaged sticker.

All the reviews said the grill was hard to assemble, however as long as you ignor the photos in the directions there is no real problem. It took two of us just over an hour.
