This is the first gas grill I've had that I've been truly happy with. The only downside is that it comes completely unassembled and will take between 1-2 hours to finish. The instructions are entirely made of pictures which, in my opinion, aren't the clearest. I've written technical manuals in the past, and personally I would have made some alterations.....but I can be picky about those things too.Cooking on the grill is wonderful. It heats evenly and the food sears perfectly. I had no trouble keeping a consistent temperature and the grill heated up quickly. I did an initial burn-off for 20 minutes to remove any wax from the cast-iron grates and then seasoned with a spray oil and let it cook at 350 for about an hour. I then lightly greased the grates with crisco and let it cook for an additional 30 minutes. This combination provided a stick-free surface to cook on. In the future I'd like to purchase stainless steel grates for easier clean up and maintenance, but I have no complaints about the included grates. I rated it for grilling with medium groups as it's definitely not just for small gatherings, but you might want something a bit bigger or an additional grill for very large get-togethers. I have a family of five and can easily cook an entire meal including side dishes at the same time. Then only item that could be of any bother to someone is the placement of the dial controls on the right side-table, which cuts down on some space for placing plates and such. I haven't found it a hindrance yet, but there's a possibility that it could get annoying in the future. [...] Overall, I'm extremely pleased with our purchase. Weber makes quality grills. They're certainly more costly than some other choices, but you can clearly see a difference in materials and build, which makes the added expense worth it in my opinion.

bad ship interval
Almost a 3 week wait for grill to be delivered. Although shipping was free, everyone offers free shipping, and almost 3 weeks is WAY too long.

I am so glad that I finally bit the bullet and bought a Weber Grill. So far I have used it once but it grilled to perfection. I love the quality and it was pretty simple to put together. The whole set up from start to finish took me 1Hr 45 Min to assemble. Used it today for the first time. I will stick with Weber grills in the future, although probably will be 10+ years until I need a new one!
