I have owned my Weber S320 for approx. 6 monthes now. This is my first real grill. I must admit that it took a little bit of time to learn not to burn things on it, but even the “over cooked” meats were great. If I had it to do over though, must admit that I probabley would not get the burner on the side, as I’ve only used it once. The S.S. grates are easy to clean, and really like the propane level indicator. The first couple of times I used the grill, it really got HOT! 750*. So one must keep an eye on the temp. And the temp. guage is A1 quality as well. Also had a grease fire once with flames shooting out from under the grill at the top of the doors. No damage! I was impressed.
I thought I’d list some tips I’ve learned for those like myself who are not familiar with grilling, or at least grilling on the Weber Genesis. It truly does have uniform heat. I heat the unit up to 450-500*, slap the meat on the front half of the grill and quickly close the lid. I then turn the front two burners down to low, leaving the rear burner on high. This keeps the temp around 430*. I have the timer set for 7 minutes; once it goes off I reset the timer for another 7 minutes, flip the meat over and close the lid. I do not open the lid during the cooking and let my heat escape. Once the timer goes off for the second 7 minutes, I reset for 5 minutes and remove the meat and let it “cure” for 5 minutes time which allows the cooked flesh to reabsorb the moisture. I have found this time of 7/7/5 works on all thickness beef, pork, and skinned/boneless chicken breasts. Perfect every time. I also like to marinate the cuts of meat for extra flavor.
The Weber Genesis is top notch and it will not disappoint any purchaser in it's grilling capabilities. After seeing mine, my neighbor bought one and is also extremely happy with his.
I bought a vinyl cover for it, but never use it as I got tired of being shocked by static electricty every time I pulled it off and touched the grill. But being the better quality S.S., it weathers great.
Weber Technical Support was A#1 as well. Needed a little advice on the set-up, lost a bolt and they got me two more out ASAP at no extra cost.
American Quality survives!!

So far, we are not very impressed. The first burner doesn't light. It has been slow to heat up and to hold the heat. Grilling has been nothing special. For nearly $1,000, we expected more. Perhaps we just need to give it more time to work everything out.

First meal I cooked steak and shrimp for my Wife and I and it was wonderful. The Genesis S-330 is the best grill I have ever owned. If you'er on the fence with buying this grill don't hesitate any longer, just do it.

Nice grill. Setup took 1.5 to 2 hours, it was more intensive than expected, though I suppose any grill that comes in a small box would take a little time to assemble.
