I replaced my old Weber (charcoal) kettle, which I grilled on for al least 10 years, with this grill. I trusted Weber was making a quality product and I'm was not disappointed. It's our second season using the Q 300 and it cooks perfectly every time. The temperature is easy to control and the heat spreads evenly throughout the cooking surface. I could go on, but believe me, you cant't go wrong with this little beauty.

I had been happy with Hayneedle up to this point, but the product was advertised as 22% off the list price and I've seen the same bbq everywhere locally for either the same price or even less. I feel ripped off and probably will not order from this company again unless they try to ameliorate this problem.

Warmed up to grilling temp fast. I had a hard time seeing the flame to know if it was on or not. The handle does get hot so beware. Only have used it once but so far so good!

My husband and I had owned a Weber Q for several years, and decided it was time to upgrade. Out of the boxes I was a bit daunted at the prospect of putting the cart and the grill together; but I need not have worried (even for me) it was a breeze, and I can honestly say I didn't encounter any problems. As the "occasional griller" in the family, and having had a chance to use the grill, I can confirm:a) users may want to check out the Note in the Handbook (under Cooking Methods on Page 30) that suggests it may take a few cooking sessions for the temperature inside the cooker to match those shown in the cookbook (and on the burner control knobs) - 'til then the temperature inside the cooker may be hotter. Luckily I paid attention to this Note and turned the burners down accordingly;b) the benefit of the two burners, providing both direct and indirect cooking; c) the evenness of cooking.d) the benefit of the two-piece grill, that facilitates cleaning.On the Con side I think the price is a little on the steep side - although the grill maintains the Weber standard and reputation for cooking and quality. Nevertheless I think the price could have included Electronic Ignition and the Handle Light (offered in the higher priced Model Q320). I also think users should be warned that the Cookbox lid handle gets pretty hot.Now I look forward to many years of happy grilling on our new Weber, and confirm that we are pleased with our purchase.
