Comments about Weber Summit S-670 Stainless Steel Gas Grill:
I received this grill on Friday afternoon, assembled it on Saturday and found that the switch for the lighted control knobs didn't work as it should. I took it apart on Sunday and couldn't fix it myself so I called the Weber customer service # expecting to get a recording stating the regular business hours to call back, instead I was greeted with a friendly voice that took down my info and is promptly sending me a new replacement switch...great service even on Sunday...WOW

Comments about Weber Summit S-670 Stainless Steel Gas Grill:
We waited a long time to make this purchase, and we're glad we finally pulled the trigger. This grill is exactly as advertised. Easy assembly, took about one hour by myself. [...] Great grilling, we have had this grill for a week, and we've already cooked six meals on it!!! Totally worth the money. The only downside, I had to ask my neighbor to help me get it out of the box.

Q1: How do I clean my Flavorizer Bars for my grill?
A: Maintaining your Flavorizer Bars is simple and easy. Regularly doing the burn-off/brush routine should keep your Flavorizer Bars clean. Start by doing a burn-off (turning all burners on high for 15 minutes with the lid closed) before or after grilling. (If you have cast iron grates, remove before burning off.) This will turn the accumulated debris on your Flavorizer Bars into ashes. Then when the grates are cool, lift them out and brush off the bars with a brass brush.
If a more thorough cleaning is necessary, take the bars out of the grill, put them in the sink and clean with some soapy water and an SOS pad. If using dishwashing liquid in the water, do not use anything lemon-or citrus-based. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry. Do not let them drip dry, as this may cause them to rust prematurely. We do not recommend putting Flavorizer Bars in the dishwasher. The amount of debris they release may cause your drain to clog.
Q2: Can a portable grill be built in safely?
A: No, portable grills are not ventilated properly and could start a fire if put into a built in cabinet. Weber does make a built in unit.
Q3: What type of stainless steel is used?
A: This grill uses 304 grade stainless steel.
Q4: Can this grill be converted to natural gas to propane or propane to natural gas?
A: No it can not. Doing so would void any and all warranties.
Q5: Where are Weber grills manufactured?
A: The Weber® Summit®, Genesis®, Q®, and charcoal grills are assembled in America using internationally sourced components. The Weber® Spirit® series gas grill and Compact charcoal grills (export) are assembled in China.
