So far, the sheath holds up to the weather, however, it was only purchased a few days ago. It was bought for father's day and placed on the BBQ to see how it worked and he still hasnt caught on to something hiding his brand new BBQ he got last month. When going with BBQ products, our family always goes with Weber, they seem to hold up the best.
