Been using this for 9 months now. Grilling 2x or more per week. Just purchased another 2 bags. Very little dust, no resin-residual flavors from partial processing into charcoal, no small branches, just a bag full of medium-sized charcoal. Lights faster than a gas grill can warm up, and can burn hotter than a gas grill can achieve if you want it to. Combined with the Char Grill 4-grate grill, I am a happy man with happy friends.

I have had to resort to mail order for my lump charcoal as the stuff I can get from the local harware store has started using branches and other bad-tasting scraps. While only my first bags of Primo, the bags had all medium-size lumps, very little dust, and burned really evenly and hot. I start using a homemade chimney, and this lit fast, with a bed of red coals in 6-9 minutes. My food tastes great and I can cook my steaks with far higher heat than can ever be accomplished with briquets. I am sold. This is a great charcoal that I hope reliably stays just like what was in these bags.
