The Stainess Steel Fryer pot is made of a good quality Stainless & seems to heat up faster than the aluminum ones. I use the pot for steaming crabs,right out of the Chesapeake Bay. I can steam a little more than 1/3 of a bushel at a time & the strainer basket inside is great for getting the crabs to the table.
Just a hint on steaming crabs, place a couple of layers of newspaper on top of the pot, then put the lid on with a couple of bricks on top of the lid. (Its a readneck thing)
The newspaper keeps the steam from dripping back down on the crabs & washing off the seasonings & the bricks on top holds the steam better & cooks them quicker

I love the stainless steel pot over aluminum and the price was tops!
