I might give the turkey frying a try at some point, but I purchased this item for other reasons. I love steamed clams and oysters and I catch and cook dungeness crab. The larger basket is perfect for oysters and clams. And the big pot is great for holding a day's limit of crab. The smaller basket is what I use for my cajun shrimp boil. It's perfect! Cook the shrimp and other things in the basket, then drain, and simply dump in the center of the table and dig in!!! I also love blackened fish ala New Orleans. I take a cast iron skillet out to the deck and use it directly on the cooker to sear the fish. All the smoke stays outside and the good tastes come back inside to the table. I have two of these for when we have local bass frys and one is for the fish and one is for the french fries....... What a great addition to any camp gear or home............No other package had both pots/baskets and stuff that makes this the best buy out there.......
